Install VLC plugin for Firefox

Install VLC and plugins (make sure you have a “multiverse” repository activated):

sudo apt-get install vlc vlc-plugin-* mozilla-plugin-vlc

the plugin file will be located in:

/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins/libvlcplugin.so
